Club Audubon & all audubon amenitites

As is typical to master planned communities, Audubon’s initial phases of residential development included millions of dollars of amenities, which are constructed in phases. These include, but are not limited to, items such as entry monuments, trails, parks, Audubon Lake, Heron Park, Legacy Park, Screech Park, crosswalks, landscaping, irrigation, mailbox covers, bird habitat, playgrounds, swings, lighting, and signage.

Master-planned communities add additional phases of amenities based on additional development. For more substantial items, like recreation centers, design and delivery is based on the size and scale of the community required to support such amenities. Not all master planned communities have the same amenities. The nature and character of the community and the design and programming of amenities create a unique look and feel that defines the community. Audubon is unique and is set against the backdrop of forested Mill Creek with gently rolling topography. Audubon has many preserve areas, creeks, lakes, tributaries and other natural amenities along the planned trails and other planned amenities that will evolve over time as they are designed and constructed in concert with the Audubon Park system.

A recreation center and pool called (“Club Audubon”) is one of the planned amenities for a site in Audubon Park District along Audubon Parkway just south of and adjacent to the Audubon Elementary School. While timing has not yet been released, the first phase of Club Audubon has been under design over the past year and is nearing completion. General programming information for Phase I of Club Audubon will be released when design is completed. Anticipated start and anticipated completion for Phase I will be announced after bids have been approved and the estimated construction schedule is final.
